The Faculty of Law of the University of Oxford and Guangzhou Arbitration Commission Sign Memorandum of Understanding on Professional Development Collaboration

牛津大学法学院与广州仲裁委员会（以下简称“广仲”）签署合作备忘录，并合作开展国际仲裁与争议解决领域新的专业发展项目。

Oxford University’s Faculty of Law and the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission (GZAC) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on the design and delivery of a new professional development programme in international arbitration and dispute resolution.

该项目将整合牛津大学的学术专长与广仲在仲裁领域的实践经验，为中国法律从业者、仲裁员及企业管理者量身打造专属项目。

The initiative will bring together Oxford’s academic expertise and GZAC’s practical experience in arbitration to create a programme tailored for legal practitioners, arbitrators and business leaders in China. 

该项目由牛津大学法学院研发并授课，依托最新研究成果，将在牛津开展以互动讨论为核心的教学活动。参与者将深入探讨一系列核心议题，包括国际仲裁、争议解决、国际商法及条约法。

Developed and taught by members of the Oxford Faculty of Law, the programme will be grounded in the latest research and will feature interactive, discussion-based learning in Oxford. Participants will explore key topics including international arbitration, dispute resolution, international commercial law, and the law of treaties.

根据协议，牛津大学将提供学术支持、教学资源及质量保障，而广仲将协助推动参与及本地落地工作。双方还将探索联合出版刊物、圆桌会议及年度论坛等合作机会，以推广国际仲裁与争议解决领域的全球最佳实践。

Under the agreement, Oxford will provide academic input, teaching resources and quality assurance, while GZAC will facilitate participant engagement and local implementation. The collaboration will also explore opportunities for joint publications, roundtables and annual forums to promote global best practices in arbitration and dispute resolution.

此次合作立足于今年10月在牛津大学圣休学院为广仲成员举办的 “国际仲裁高级研修班”的成功基础。该项目包含由牛津大学法学院教授Freya Baetens、Ariel Ezrachi、Ignacio Cofone、Rebecca Williams、Horst Eidenmüller及Geneviève Helleringer主持的专题演讲与研讨环节，同时也标志着牛津大学与广仲在深化机构间合作关系方面迈出了重要一步。

This collaboration builds on the success of the Elite International Arbitration Leadership Programme, held for members of GZAC in October this year at St Hugh’s College, Oxford. The programme featured presentations and discussions led by Oxford Law Professors Freya Baetens, Ariel Ezrachi, Ignacio Cofone, Rebecca Williams, Horst Eidenmüller, and Geneviève Helleringer, and marked a significant step in strengthening institutional ties between Oxford and GZAC.

牛津大学法学院院长John Armour教授表示：“上个月的试点项目取得成功后，我们很高兴能与广仲正式确立合作关系。此次合作体现了我们致力于与全球各地机构开展合作的理念，旨在增进法律关键领域的认知与实践水平。我们期待与广仲深化学术交流，并为这一重要领域未来领军人才的培养贡献力量。”

Professor John Armour, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Oxford University, said: “We are delighted to formalise our collaboration with GZAC following the successful pilot programme last month.
